Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles is propelled by the electricity generated by the reaction of hydrogen or hydrogen containing substance and oxygen in the fuel cell. It has characteristics like clean and safe operations, long range and fast fuel replenishment. According to the 'Energy Conservation and New Energy Vehicle Technology Roadmap 2.0' compiled by the China Society of Automotive Engineers(SAE), it is predicted that the number of fuel cell vehicles in China will be 100,000 in 2025, and that is expected to reach 1 million by 2035.

Power inductors are important passive components in the power supply system of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. The integration of automotive electronics requires inductors to have higher power density, smaller size, lower losses, higher withstand voltage, and excellent resistance to electromagnetic interference.
Power inductors are mainly applied to hydrogen fuel electric vehicle components such as DC/DC converters, communication nodes of various systems, automotive main control units, motor controllers,battery management systems(BMS), etc.(See in Figure 2 below).
