In the fields of industrial control and power systems, the inductor, as a crucial energy storage component, plays an important role in the power conversion efficiency and the power performance of equipment. To adapt to the design requirements of high-power density schemes and the application needs in complex working environments, inductors in the fields of industrial control and power systems not only need to have electrical characteristics such as high current, low loss, low-temperature rise, and high conversion efficiency, but also need to possess traits such as small size, strong anti-electromagnetic interference performance, and high reliability.


CSPT1590 Series Power Inductor Features
To meet the design demands of high-power density schemes in fields such as high-power DC-DC converters and point-of-load (POL) power supplies, CODACA has launched the compact high-current inductor CSPT1590 series. This product has excellent temperature stability, with a working temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, and is suitable for complex working environments.

1. Low-Loss Mn-Zn Ferrite Core

The CSPT1590 designed with manganese-zinc ferrite cores, has excellent DC bias and anti-saturation capability, and can withstand larger impulse currents to ensure the higher conversion efficiency of the converter. The wide-temperature and low-power consumption characteristics can reduce the magnetic core loss of the inductor during voltage conversion effectively, achieving the goals of low-temperature rise and high efficiency.


2. Flat Wire Carrying a Higher Continuous Working Current

The flat wire windings increased the utilization rate of the magnetic core window, resulting in a significant reduction in DCR, effectively reducing the DC loss of the inductor and improving the conversion efficiency.


3. Sturdy Packaging Design, with Outstanding Anti-vibration Performance

CSPT1590 features a durable packaging design that enhances anti-vibration performance through a 3-terminal structure, increasing the soldering area and reducing packaging height for improved effectiveness.


4. Magnetic Shielding Structure with Excellent EMI Resistance

CSPT1590 series adopts a magnetic shielding structure and has excellent anti-electromagnetic interference capabilities.


5. Compact Design, Effectively Saving PCB Space

CSPT1590 with a size of only 15.00 * 16.26 * 10.16 mm, achieves high current in a small package save installation space effectively, and meets the design requirements of miniaturized schemes such as DC-DC converters.

The CSPT1590 series are widely used in high-power power supply DC-DC converters, point-of-load (POL) power supplies, voltage regulation modules (VRM), transient voltage suppressors (VRD), output chokes, and other high-power DC-DC conversion applications.
